I have heard a lot of ‘Deewankhana’ so, thought of paying a visit. The restaurant go true with the name, as I arrived there stood a huge gate at the entrance which gave those ‘Raja Maharaja’ feels. There’s an interesting trivia about the restaurant, it has a door which actually is 400 year old . It’s an antique door. Ambience was awesome, everything arranged systematically. This place is perfect for families as well as couples. One could have their date here and leave with assured second date. The restaurant got a beautiful bar section, one could chill over a glass of cocktail and mocktail. Best thing about this restaurant is every spices used were homemade. Specially lot of gravy dishes were made in black gravy, giving it a unique taste.

I kicked off my lunch with some starters
Mutton chops hirwa masala- Mutton was perfectly marinated and well cooked. I personally recommend this dish; must try. It has unique authentic taste .

Kala sukka chicken-Chicken was perfectly cooked and well marinated. Instead of eating chicken I would eat the masala first coz it was so yummy.

Atishi aaloo – Atishi aaloo is basically dum aaloo, taste was good. Aaloo was perfectly cooked was easily chewable.

Kothimbir vadi -Its crunchy outside and soft inside, after one bite of vadi i fell in love, it was amazing dish. I felt that i was eating this vadi at home. Those one really like kothibir vadi try this .
